New page: FAST Services Posted by * Red * | Posted on December 08, 2025, 02:00:32 pm
Earlier this year, I realised I was sick of never which channels where on which FAST (fast ad-supported streaming television) services, and having to navigate through clunky interfaces that can't seem to decide wherever they're designed for a web browser or a smart TV, as well as all the lists available online being out of date. (TV Channel Lists, I'm looking at you!)

So I set out to compile a list of all the FAST services available in the UK, as well as most of the ones in America and Canada (I have a friend who recently moved there), with direct links where possible, all machine generated from their JSON and XML feeds.

So here, for your channel surfing pleasure, I present to you those lists:

FAST Services: UK USA Canada

Oh, if anyone knows of a free and reliable Canadian proxy server or VPN that I can access using PHP, do let me know, then I can add Tubi Canada to the list.

Also, what's with all the black channels? How many channels does one minority group need, and does anyone outside America actually watch them?

The rise of negrophilia and the end of white privilege (did it ever begin?) Posted by * Red * | Posted on May 26, 2023, 08:26:57 pm
I can no longer remain silent on this matter.

While the human race has mostly beaten coronavirus, there is one virus it hasn't defeated. In fact, it has been mutating and getting stronger and stronger over the past three three. I am, of course, talking about negrophilia.

Ever since the death of George Floyd, black welfare organisations such as Black Lives Matter have successfully convinced just about every media outlet that racism is a constantly growing problem (but only for black people), despite the fact that hardly anyone (outside of football) was talking about it before then. And since then, the documentaries and dramas on this topic have been coming non-stop, as has the use of "Black" with a capital B. Panel shows now have token black panellists in addition to token women. Game shows now have token questions on racism, civil rights or slavery. Even Live at the Apollo now has token coloured, token gay and token disabled comedians.

Obviously, being beaten to death solely because of the colour of your skin by those who are meant to be protecting us from such things isn't something you should just have to put up with, but having the same topic shoved down my throat for three years straight isn't something I should have to put up with, either. I'm reminded of an image I saw on a documentary on BET that said something like "FBI informants have infiltrated every KKK sect." That's what I feel has happened now.

Let's rewind for a second: this war is being fought because a black man was beaten to death by a white cop. Many of these black welfare organisations were founded because of similar events. In the past, they've had to deal with things like racial segregation. Gays and Jews have had to go through similar experiences.

And they're still upset over a word? They're not called "Black Feelings Matter!"

Any black person who is still upset over a single word is a hypocrite, especially since it's been them who have invented words...

...and then unleashed them upon the world...

...and now, everyone uses them on everyone.

(I wanted a picture of Jojo Siwa saying "Peace out, haters" here but couldn't find one. I think you get the idea by now.)

Now let's look at the bigger picture: every time you see a cop in an American film, they're black, and often, the only black actor in that film. Every time I see a documentary on traffic wardens, they're black. And what's truly disgusting about that last one is that it has been comedised not just once, but twice, first by Little Miss Jocelyn, then by Harry and Paul in their Parking Pataweyo sketches.

Samuel L. Jackson is regarded as an international treasure, yet he sees nothing wrong in playing the villain every once in a while, especially in Jumper and Kingsman (where Colin Firth is the real villain). And because of that, he's one of the many celebrities I hate for one reason and one reason alone.

Well before the George Floyd protests, Lenny Henry has been playing the race card, claiming there aren't enough BAME people on TV, yet he was nowhere to be seen on the last two series of Live at the Apollo. His sitcom Chef! is one of the most offensive things I've ever seen. And then there was Hope and Glory, where he played a school headteacher. Then there wad War at the Door, a police documentary. His stand-up is the only good thing about him.

And now, a word on so-called white privilege. I don't think I've ever felt privileged as a white person. And since the protests, I've felt less and less privileged as a white person. Is it even possible to be less than nothing of something? I think so.

So, in closing, I'd like to finish with this statement: You want us to not hate black people? Stop casting them as villains: in real life, art or fiction! I'm done here.
